What Customers are Saying about Honey Church
My name is Abby-Ann Redman, I established Honey Church Farm in January 2023 with just eight sheep on ten acres of rented land. Since then, the flock has grown, and so has the dream. We’ve now settled into a permanent location in the Sunnybrook area, where I raise Icelandic and Scottish Blackface sheep alongside my livestock guardian dog, Sylvie, and my herding companion, Juneau.
Before starting Honey Church Farm, I earned a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Animal Health and Nutrition. Today, alongside managing the farm, I work as a ruminant nutritionist, supporting beef and sheep producers across Alberta.
Raising my own livestock allows me to put my knowledge into practice, connecting science, stewardship, and tradition in a way that benefits the animals, the land, and the community I care about.
